Connecting Military Spouses With
Federal Careers During Your Next Move
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) places a high priority on helping DAF active-duty spouses navigate civilian career pathways within the federal workforce.
To support that mission, Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) established the Global Military Spouse Connection (GMSC) — an initiative dedicated to connecting DAF active-duty spouses with career support resources, hiring managers, and Air Force Civilian Service opportunities across the Department of the Air Force.
Designed with the realities of military life in mind, the initiative supports career continuity by helping spouses explore career pathways, navigate federal employment, and remain connected to meaningful professional opportunities during Permanent Change of Station (PCS) transitions and relocations.
If you’re a DAF active-duty spouse, make joining the Global Military Spouse Connection your next move.
Eligibility for the initial phase is limited to DAF spouses married to active-duty members with PCS orders to Travis AFB, Patrick SFB, or Ramstein AB.
Join the DAF Active-Duty Spouse Talent Network/Global Military Spouse Connection.

Submit your two-page resume to the GMSC talent pool, highlighting your skills, education, and experience.
We take your two-page resume and deliver it directly to the Human Resources team at your new installation.
